(Read More...)]]> Our first major anouncement is that we've been asked to perform at DEXCON 2012! After going and visiting the world of Double Expsoure events earlier this year, we apparently charmed them enough that we will be performing a full show at DEXCON 15 this July. For those of you unfamiliar with DEXCON , it is a large gaming con in Morristown NJ that will be happening this year Wednesday July 4th-Sunday July 8th. This year they are proud to offer over 30 national championships (with cash prizes), a bunch of RPGs (including indie and classic systems), the world's only 50' x 20' wargaming battlefield, over 40 LARPs, videogaming on a giant LCD screen, rooms devoted to screening anime and classic movies, plus guest artists/designers/writers and more. Oh, and there are free snacks, a sugarfest and chocolate fondue on special nights! Like, OMG, seriously, DEXCON 15 means business and we'll be there performing Friday night!! 
Now, say you want to get in on this delicious gaming action, how would you
   go about doing this? If you can only make it for the weekend, go to the
   DEXCON 15 website and sign up for the weekend membership and enter the
   code D20-DEX15 and save $5 off admission.  For you serious gamers out there
   who are all like, "I can't miss a single minute of this event, I want it
   ALL!" first we say, calm down, we know it is super cool, but no need to get
   all ragey on us. Then we'd say, go to the website and sign up for the full
   membership and enter the code D20-DEX15Week and you'll save $10 (so
   basically, they don't have to pay for the show or only pay $15 for the
   Patron of the Arts special tickets)!  The more tickets purchased using these

(Read More...)]]> D20 Burlesque was proud to be a part of Dungeons and Dragons On & Ever Onward! D&DO&EO is an art show showcasing RPG related art, video, and illustration at the Soho Gallery of Digital Art.
The gallery exhibit will ran from January 4th – 11th, 2012 and we performed at the Adventurer Conqueror King (!) distribution deal part on January 5th. This performance got us national attention due to links on Wired.com, EscapistMagazine.com and even  a picture in the New York Times!

Special thanks to Tavis Allison for the invite to perform at the event. Check out his work at  Adventuring Parties, a group that sets up D&D themed events for kids & adults!
