D20 Burlesque
Our Charisma is Matched only by our Dexterity
D20 Burlesque was founded by Anja Keister in the winter 2011 as a way for her to perform acts that were a little too obscure, specific, and geeky for normal burlesque shows. Starting with a theme based on the namesake for the group, D20 Burlesque had their first show on Friday March 25th based around roleplaying games. From there the group has tackled such topics as board games, H.P. Lovecraft, video games and even internet memes! D20 Burlesque has been on the following: Topless Robot, Kotaku, The Escapist Magazine, Wired magazine (on-line), Player Affinity, Re-Imagined Reality, Ology.com, the NY Times, Time Out NY and on College Humor’s Nerd Alert. Along with their monthly shows they have performed at DEX CON (NJ), Gen Con (IN), The Escapist Expo (NC) and more!

Rogue Burlesque
Boston’s Geekiest Burlesque Troupe – classic with a kick!
The Rogues have brought their brand of gorgeous, geeky burlesque to New England since 2009. The Independent Film Channel television series Young, Broke & Beautiful featured them as a quintessential Boston experience, right up there with the Sam Adams Brewery. In addition to a monthly residence at the Middlesex Lounge, the troupe has dazzled audiences at Oberon, Club Cafe, ImprovBoston, and private parties and events from Boston to New York City. In 2011, readers of The Boston Phoenix and The Weekly Dig nominated them for “Boston’s Best Burlesque Troupe,” and Citysearch calls them “one of Boston’s top burlesque troupes.” They are members of the Boston Circus Guild, the official stripteasers of the Boston Center for Adult Education, and the creators of the wildly popular Lucky 13 Amateur Burlesque Competition.
